The Math Behind Smooth Slow-Mo
Slow motion works by spreading out recorded frames over a longer period. If you record at 60 FPS and your project is 30 FPS, you have twice as many frames as you need. This means you can slow down the video to 50% without losing any smoothness.
Pro Tip for VN Users:
If you slow down a 30 FPS clip to 50%, it will look "choppy" because the final output will be only 15 FPS. Always ensure your Recorded FPS is higher than your Project FPS before applying slow motion.
